A LITTLE ABOUT US
WHERE WE STARTED
Bill and Hazel have a passion for God, knowing him as a good father, and Jesus as a friend to all. Their deepest desire is for others to experience this for themselves. They believe in relationship over religion. Bill and Hazel ordained as ministers with the International Association of Healing Rooms in 2006 and Hazel was also ordained with CMA of Canada in 2021. They have high value for family and enjoy spending as much time as they can with their three sons, their families, and extended family.

WE HAVE SUMMARIZED THIS MINISTRY WITH THE PHRASE "THREE STREAMS-ONE RIVER" REFLECTED IN OUR LOGO.
Stream one was the launching of Open Door Healing Rooms in Powell River in 2006 in Partnership with the International Association of Healing Rooms which operates around the Globe. The focus was on an inward journey with the Holy Spirit pursuing healing of the body, inner healing of emotions and spiritual healing.
Steam two began to flow with the addition of the encounter centre in 2011 focusing on establishing a community centre. The upward journey within community include training and empowering believers from various backgrounds to hear Gods voice and discover their God given identity and spiritual gifts.
Stream three is an outward journey of paying it forward. It's about establishing more ways to bless the community of Powell River, Tla'Amin and Qathet with the love of God in tangible ways. Moving to our new location at 6816 Alberni St. provides and exciting opportunity for this to happen. Real people - Real Love.

ONE RIVER - 3 STREAMS
​The first stream is Healing Rooms which opened in Powell River 2006 . A movement
re-launched by Cal Pierce who had a strong encounter with God in 1999. His vision was to see Healing Rooms in every city in the world to promote unity and healing. From humble beginnings Cal's vision spread quickly and now there are over 3200 Healing Rooms in over 50 Countries. We believe as our spirit, soul and bodies are healed it helps
bringing people into divine purpose.

As we grew, the second stream started to flow into the Encounter Center in 2011. We became a community centre that believes in the five aspects of ministry. EC is a hub offering a variety of activates to connect and unite community in the Powell River, Tla'Amin and regional areas. We have an expectation and see the fruit of God's grace to be destiny incubators. Creating a place of refreshing, encouragement, friendships, healing, learning , love and support.
Out of these two streams a third opened up. Ways to connect in the community, bringing our ingredient into the community and regionally. Real people, Real love , Real Jesus. We are relational in all we do, not religious.

HARVEST ALLIANCE (formerly Partners in Harvest)
​ Is a global family of churches and ministries from many nations in all it's beauty and form. The vision is to demonstrate Father God's love with signs, wonders and miracles. To strengthen leaders relationally and in their calling through caring for one another we facilitate networks across the nations believing together we are stronger. Come grow with us!

A message from Alf & Pam - In Support of Encounter Center
The Encounter Center is a unique ministry in that it works to reach out cross all borders to train and equip others to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. Their work demonstrates the Father's love to all those they reach with many testimonies
of lives transformed. The work they do through EC, Healing Rooms and the Spirit Cafe has brought the power and love of God to those who have never experienced God's presence, and to those who have known it, but need encouragement.
They have pioneered a work of walking in the power of the Holy Spirit for over 20 years in the Powell River area. Others have benefited from their teaching and example of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. These guys are the real deal. They are not only a true work of the Holy Spirit but they demonstrate their commitment to the whole people of God through their personal relationship with the local church, their active participation as a Harvest Alliance Ministry as well as their personal integrity and honour.

Alf and Pam are the Canadian Leaders for Harvest Alliance. A global network and family across the Nations. Harvest Alliance appreciates the Diversity of the various assignments and gifting of leaders. H.A. values relationships over position as the network supports and strengthens one another in who they have been called to be and how that is uniquely expressed in what they do. They vision is to demonstrate Father God's love in a word and deed seeing his power touching people and regions globally. Pam and Alf are known for their teaching in the Fathers love and pouring it into others. They have pastored The River Community Church in Abbotsford B.C. for 25 years.
